Fees, charges and service costs

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) applies fees and charges in accordance with the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2025 , which set out the Authority’s financial arrangements and the basis on which certain services may incur costs.

These fees ensure CFA can continue delivering essential fire prevention, preparedness, and emergency response services to Victorian communities. The information below outlines the current fees and charges, how they are determined, and when they apply.

Service fee: $681.30 per appliance for false alarm attendance (15-minute intervals).

Commercial events

Commercial service fee: varies by category, charged per day (00:00–24:00).
