Building fire safety skills early
CFA provides resources to help primary school educators teach important fire safety skills from a young age. With our curriculum-aligned lesson plans, students can learn:
- How to prevent fires at home
- What an emergency is and how to respond
- What firefighters do
- Why working smoke alarms are important
- Why families need home fire escape plans, and how to leave safely during a fire
- Why bushfires happen and how families can get prepared.
