ESVF Journey Map

has been designed to guide CFA members through the process in a clear, simple, and visual way. It outlines each stage from start to finish, helping you understand what to expect and what actions are required at each step.
Within the Journey Map, you’ll find direct access to the CFA Members Online ESVF Portal through a link, where you can complete the required steps and manage your submission. If you need additional support, the map also includes a link to a detailed step-by-step guide with comprehensive instructions.
If you would like a copy in your Station to assist members, a printable version of the Journey Map (PDF 548.2KB)
is also available. This version includes QR codes instead of web links, making it easy to display so members can quickly scan and access the portal or detailed guidance when needed.

Past CFA Volunteer
Please note: If you are a current CFA member, do not use this option. It will delay your eligibility assessment, and you will still be required to log in to Members Online to continue your application.
For the purposes of the Victorian Government’s Emergency Services and Volunteers Fund (ESVF) and the related Eligible Volunteer Rebate Scheme (Volunteers Rebate), a past CFA member is a person who meets all eligibility criteria, was a CFA member on the applicable eligibility date for the rebate year being claimed, but is no longer a member of the CFA.

CFA Life Members
Please note: If you are a current CFA member, do not use this option. It will delay your eligibility assessment, and you will still be required to log in to Members Online to continue your application.
For the purposes of the Victorian Government’s new Emergency Services and Volunteers Fund (ESVF) and related Eligible Volunteer Rebate Scheme (Volunteers Rebate), a person is eligible so long as CFA Life Membership was received prior to the eligibility date. Members who have received Brigade Life Membership and not CFA Life Membership are not eligible under this criteria.
