The CFA Service Award recognises the dedicated service of individuals in CFA. It acknowledges milestones and celebrates ongoing commitment to fire and emergency response roles.

Summary

  • A CFA Service Award certificate is awarded after 5 years of service.
  • A CFA Service Award Medal is awarded after 10 years, with additional medals for every 5 years thereafter.

Criteria

The CFA Service Award is awarded in recognition of service given to CFA. Recipients receive a:

  • Certificate: For an aggregate efficient service of not less than five years
  • Medal: For an aggregate efficient service of not less than 10 years in one or more fire brigades/work locations and each subsequent five years of service. Volunteer and employee service is cumulative, but concurrent service will only be counted once
