General fire safety programs

CFA offers a range of free programs to community members, equipping you with general fire safety knowledge and encouraging you to take action.

Programs cover a range of topics, from basic bushfire/grassfire safety through to fire planning or home fire safety. Sessions are run by trained CFA members in person or online.

CFA's General Fire Safety programs are aimed at a wide range of people, from those with no knowledge of their fire risk, to those people who are highly motivated and want comprehensive information. Some target particular segments of the community.

The sessions are delivered by trained CFA members and use a variety of approaches, such as presentations and facilitated discussions.

Sessions can also be delivered to community groups, such as 4WD clubs, horse groups, Rotary clubs, township groups, community houses, cycling groups and Men's Sheds.
