CFA delivers services to the community through a network of more than 1,200 stations across Victoria.
CFA's fire stations are specifically designed to support and facilitate the emergency needs of our firefighters and to house our specialist vehicles and equipment.
Urban Fire Stations
Urban stations cater to the needs of larger brigades and include a 3-4 bay drive-through motor room, turn-out area, workshop, Breathing Apparatus cleaning room and drying room.
A meeting room and kitchen are provided for training and brigade use together with offices for support functions.

Rural Fire Stations
Rural fire stations typically house 2-3 vehicles and brigade equipment.
Smaller rural stations include a turn out area, workshop and toilet while larger rural stations also have a meeting room and kitchen.
