It's easy to think you'll never be impacted by fire, but many Victorians live in areas where bushfires or grassfires fires can and do happen. This free one hour session is designed to help you understand how you may be at risk of fire, and how to survive if you find yourself impacted by one.

Who is it for?

Fire Safety Essentials is an introductory session for people who want to grow their understanding of bushfires and grassfires and how to survive them.

FSE is also ideal for people who are new to the area, or who haven't attended a session recently. Local community groups are also welcome to book in a session.

In this free one hour session you will learn basic information about bushfires and grassfires, and how to survive them.

Fire Safety Essentials is a tailored presentation delivered in person or online by a trained CFA member. Storytelling and local knowledge make it a relevant and engaging session.

You will leave motivated to take steps to plan for fire in your area.

At the end of the presentation, you will have the opportunity to connect with other attendees and ask any questions you may have.
