Emergency Planning Advice Service (EPAS)

EPAS is a free home visit service being piloted in some parts of the State.

It is targeted to people who need extra support to plan for fire and other emergencies because they:

  • have a significant or permanent disability
  • are older and may live alone
  • and who require support to remain living independently at home

You don't need to live in a bushfire risk area to receive this service. It is available whether you live in a suburb, a town, in the middle of the bush or on a farm (big or small).

EPAS uses person-centred conversations to help develop a plan that meets the needs of each person. Please fill in the form below to refer yourself or a client.

Please read our EPAS Data Collection Statement (DOCX 51.6KB) before you proceed.
