CFA Service Award

Criteria for Award

CFA volunteers and staff with an aggregate efficient service of more than 5 years in any one or more fire brigades/locations may be entitled to a Service Award.

Description

The CFA Service Award comprises a certificate, medal, lapel pin, ribbon bar and clasp. A presentation case is provided with the original medal set.

Certificate:
A full colour certificate signed by the Operations Manager and Captain or Brigade OIC is available after 5 years service.

Medal:
An antique copper medal suspended on a red and white check ribbon is available after 10 years service.

Lapel Pin:
An antique copper lapel pin accompanies the medal and is replaced by a lapel pin with scroll after 15 years service.

Ribbon Bar: A red and white check ribbon bar accompanies the medal and is replaced by a ribbon bar with roundel after 15 years service.

Clasp:
A clasp with roundel showing number of years served is available for attachment to the medal ribbon after 15 years service and may be replaced every 5 years thereafter.

Lapel Pin with Scroll:
Lapel pins with a scroll showing number of years served accompany the clasps.

Ribbon Bar with Roundel:
Ribbon bars with roundel attached showing number of years served also accompany the clasps.
