Schools in High Risk Areas to Close on Code Red Days- pdf 14k

Emergencies can occur in schools at any time. With proper planning the risks to buildings, and their occupants, can be reduced and some risks can even be eliminated.

Emergency management planning is used to identify risks and develop procedures to ensure the safety of people during an emergency.

The Department of Education are currently producing Emergency Guidelines for Schools and these will be available soon.
