Teachers and Schools |
Emergencies can occur in schools at any time. With proper planning
the risks to buildings, and their occupants, can be reduced and
some risks can even be eliminated.
Emergency management planning is used to identify risks
and develop procedures to ensure the safety of people during an
emergency.
CFA, in association with MFB,
have produced the Emergency Management Manual which is a tool
that
contains the necessary information for schools and other organisations
to produce their own emergency management plans cost effectively.
The manual comes with a CD-ROM of software and instruction book
enabling the production of customised emergency management plans
for specific premises.
Download the Emergency
Management Manual Order Form (pdf 27k).
The Emergency Management Manual is available for purchase from
CFA HQ or CFA
Regional Headquarters.
NB: This product is not suitable for health care facilities and
kindergartens.
