Hi Kids,

Thanks for taking a break to learn about fire safety and CFA. In this section you’ll find lots of games and activities to play and print off. I hope you enjoy learning about fire safety, and have lots of fun at the same time. The four colourful icons below tell you what you can find in each section:

  • CK and Friends introduces you to Captain Koala (me!)and my pals like Wozza Wombat and more.
  • You can play Flash games, do crossword puzzles or print a colouring sheet in Activities and Games.
  • The Project Info area has a range of fact sheets and photos of CFA firetrucks and firefighters for your school assignments.
  • If you’re between 11 and 16 you can find about being a Junior Volunteer with CFA.

The issue of Children and bushfires was raised by ABC TV News program “Behind the news” in one of its last programs this year. BTN is aimed at primary schools. The item features the thoughts of some children from Toongabbie. They are confident, sensible young kids, and their messages might be interesting to other children.
