About Equipment Services

Fire Equipment Maintenance (FEM) is a service provided by CFA brigades as a means of assisting their communities and raising funds for the brigades. The service is delivered in accordance with the regulations and relevant Australian standards.

FEM brigades provide fire equipment maintenance to a vast range of clients. There is both a service and an inspection within a 12-month period to address the requirements of the relevant Australian standard.

In order to provide support to brigades, CFA has an FEM Office in Bendigo that provides support and administration for the FEM activity. If you would like any additional information or would like to get further information about CFA's servicing, please email fem@cfa.vic.gov.au or call 1300 36 36 61.

CFA also has Community Safety Officers located in Ballarat, Melton, Geelong and Bendigo who support the FEM activity.
