Victorian Bushfire Information Line (VBIL)

The Victorian Bushfire Information Line (VBIL) provides information during and after major bushfire incidents. It also offers information to help householders, landowners and small businesses reduce bushfire risk.
Ring 1800 240 667 to find out about:
- What you can and can't do on a Total Fire Ban day or during the Fire Danger Period (fire restrictions)
- Current DSE planned burns
- Key bushfire preparation and planning information
- Township Protection Plans.
Lines are open Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Recorded information can be accessed 24 hours a day.
