Emergency incidents can occur in a commercial or industrial
environment at any time. With proper planning the risks to
buildings and occupants can be reduced, and some risks can
even be eliminated.
The Emergency Management Planning process identifies risks
and develops procedures to ensure the safety of people during
an emergency.
CFA have published a new manual based on two Australian
Standards:
- Emergency Control Organisations and Procedures for Buildings
AS3745-2002
- Planning for Emergencies – Healthcare
Facilities AS4083-1997
