The Launch

CFA, RACV sponsorship launch - children using the fire hoseThe sponsorship was launched on Geelong’s foreshore in March 2006. CFA CEO Neil Bibby and RACV Deputy Chairman John Isaac were joined by Geelong AFL Legend, Billy Brownless and City of Greater Geelong Mayor, Peter McMullin to celebrate the difference the sponsorship will make to the City and surrounding area (pictured).

Brigades from Highton and Geelong West helped draw a crowd and add some excitement to the day when one of the brigades was called out to a motor vehicle accident.

The brigade returned a short time later and helped school children from South Geelong Primary School enjoy a range of fire safety games and activities (pictured).
