Preview the new CFA public website

CFA's public website has been redesigned. Have a look around this preview version and tell us what you think.

User testing and community feedback has helped create this new website. We asked members of the public what they expected from the CFA website, how they would organise the content and what words best described the information (rather than agency terminology).

The result is (hopefully) a more user-friendly website that will better inform the 1.3 million people who visit each year.

This test version of the site will be running for the next couple of weeks. It's a preview site only and not all content or features are available.

Information has been reorganised to make it easier for people to find what they need.

There is a:

  • New main navigation menu with five main sections
  • Landing pages for each section
  • Consistent menu style
  • Breadcrumbs across the top of each page

The new main navigation, and within each of the five sections, are based on the results of extensive user-testing. We asked community members how they would categorise and label theinformation in a way that made sense to them.

Warnings panel on homepage

All current warnings will automatically appear on the homepage in a drop down panel that also includes a live Twitter feed and links to key emergency information.

The new look creates consistency across each section and also reflects CFA's new corporate style.
