Firefighters Memorial

To remember those Firefighters who died responding to a call for help in the line of duty with the CFA and its predecessor organisations, the Country Fire Brigades Board and the Bush Fire Brigades Committee, prior to the formation of the CFA.

This section is dedicated to remembering those firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty and to honour the personal sacrifices and commitment that our firefighters make each and every day.

If you have any corrections, comments, or would like to provide a photo of a loved one, please contact CFA Memorial

Line of duty: A member is considered in the line of duty, from when they first respond to a call for help to an emergency incident until they return from the incident to their home brigade. Those performing other operational support activities directly related to an emergency incident are also considered as acting in the line of duty. (CFA policy HR02019 Death of a Member)
