Communications Technician

CFA has a team of communications technicians and tower riggers who maintain this massive communications network, as well as all CFA towers and radio aerials.

Communications workshops are located at Knoxfield, Wangaratta, Ballarat and Bendigo.

Our technicians, along with planning officers and duty officers (and DMO’s), travel to the fire ground to ensure that equipment is maintained during major incidents.
