CFA is a much changed organisation since the Victorian bushfires in February 2009.
The losses of those fires drive the work we do.
We have a new approach to incident management; we’ve built stronger partnerships at local and state levels, with other fire agencies and with the communities we serve. That work continues.
More than two years on, the recovery and rebuilding process is ongoing and we will continue to strengthen our organisation to better serve the people of Victoria.
We will keep changing, improving and implementing the wide-ranging recommendations of the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission.
